Some Distributed Coordination Schemes for Wireless Sensor Networks

Deborah Estrin,
Computer Science Department,
University of California at Los Angeles

About the talk:

This talk will survey our ongoing work in scalable coordination algorithms for wireless sensor networks. In addition to reviewing motivating applications and our directed diffusion architecture, I will describe techniques for flexible time and location synchronization.

About the speaker:

Deborah Estrin is a Professor in the UCLA Computer Science Department and a visiting scholar at USC/ISI. Her current research focuses on the design and application of wireless sensor networks. Previously she was active in Internet protocol design and simulation, including multicast routing. She received her MS and PhD from MIT and her BS from UC Berkeley.
